Dee’s DenRe-touched Dee's Den - 14

Dee’s Den is our charity shop at Steeple End in Halesworth. It is run by a fantastic group of volunteers who give up their time to help our charity, and has raised more than £80,000 for us since January 2013.

The shop was originally run by Dee Shipley and her partner Billy Mayhew, who used to raise money for many local charities and organisations before asking HCNCF to take on the Den. We now stock a huge range of clothes, accessories, books, ornaments, toys and household goods, which have all been donated by the community.

We regularly rotate our stock and have special offers, so do come and visit us and pick up a bargain!

How can you help?

We are incredibly grateful for all the donations we receive. We are always looking for clean items such as clothes, kitchenware, unwanted gifts and small electrical appliances – so please do pop in if there is anything you’d like to donate. We also accept small pieces of furniture, but please do check with us before donating as there are some items we cannot accept.

If your items are worn, faded or not suitable for resale, we can recycle them – but please make sure they are clean when you donate them, and let us know they are for recycling when you drop them into the shop.

If you have lots of things to donate or are not sure if they are suitable, please phone us for advice. We can also make special arrangements to collect items if you are not able to bring them in yourself – please call Nikki Sawkins on 07733 668221 or contact Billy who will be happy to help.

We would be grateful if you could bring in your donations during our opening hours – please don’t leave bags at the door if we are closed.
