Christmas Fair Success – January 2014

Firstly, thank you to everyone that supported our Christmas Fair in St Marys Church Hall back in December. It was a successful, enjoyable morning and altogether we took a grand total of £388.45. Special thanks to Bernard Matthews and Cutlers Hill Pharmacy for kindly donating prizes for our draw, to Tricia, Lauren and Henry (pictured above) for running a chocolate tombola on behalf of Woolnoughs, and to Joy and Mary for showcasing their talents and giving everyone the opportunity to purchase their creations. Also, special thanks to everyone who spent time in the kitchen baking, to those that donated prizes or gifts, to all our members for giving up precious time just before Christmas and of course to all of you who came along to support us.

We have received donations in memory of Mr Chapman, Mrs L P Sindall, Mrs E Grassing, Mrs O R Ling, Mr S Rayner and a legacy from the estate of Mrs E W Watts. Also, donations have been received from Mr & Mrs W Whatling and Walberswick Common Lands Charity. The Rayner Green Resource Centre held a Christmas Coffee Morning on 19th December, and have made a generous donation to us. Grateful thanks for all of these donations.

Members have recently agreed to a request from the Physiotherapy Department, to purchase various items for patient care, to be used both in the Physio Department and on the wards.
